BeadSmith Kumihimo Plate

BeadSmith Kumihimo Plate is a six inch square made from a dense foam approximately 3/8 inch thick with 40 nicks, ten to a side. The plate can be used for either square or flat braids or round, but you may have more success for the round braids with the disc . English instructions for xxx different braid variations are included.

Wheat suggests... when you start and of course as you progress to more advanced braids, you may want to experiment with using a different color for each tama/bobbin. It has always intrigued me to track that thread's path in the finished braid as I build mussel memory of the braid structure.
