Phoenix consists of 12 divisible strands not unlike a Kumihimo Bundle. Phoenix is wonderful for use in any type of hand embellishment project - easily allowing you to create different thicknesses for different effects and even your own molines for unique embellishment on the fabrics.
Wheat's current favorite "practice" yarn for Kumihimo - at about 8 cents a yard, it is often more economical than floss. Used directly from the skein, Phoenix allows detail within the braid to be clearly defined - definitely a plus for use in Braid Anatomy.
Sample Thread for Color Selection can be arranged and will soon be offered in our Kumihimo section as well.
IAJS usually ships within one business day, if we do not have sufficient from same dyelot to fulfill your order, we will order it and advise you any delay in shipping of more than 3 business days
